In immer mehr St\u00e4dten regt sich in den Wohnsiedlungen der VONOVIA Widerstand gegen Mietabzocke, Modernisierungsvertreibung, und miserablen Service. Mieter*innen schlie\u00dfen sich in Mieter*inneninitiativen zusammen.<\/p>\n

Unterst\u00fctzt vom Deutschen Mieterbund hat sich das bundesweite VONOVIA-Aktionsb\u00fcndnis gebildet. Bei einem Treffen am 9. Februar in Frankfurt waren mehr als drei\u00dfig Vertreter*innen von lokalen Mieter*inneninitiativen und Mieter*innenvereinen pr\u00e4sent. Knut Unger vom Mieterverein Witten und ma\u00dfgeblicher Akteur des VONOVIA-Aktionsb\u00fcndnisses erkl\u00e4rte bei dem Treffen, dass im letzten Jahr erreicht worden w\u00e4re Modernisierungsf\u00e4lle zu dokumentieren und zu skandalisieren. Lokale Auseinandersetzungen seien auf die Bundesebene gehoben worden und h\u00e4tten Eingang in die Leitmedien gefunden.<\/p>\n

Widerstand verst\u00e4rken<\/h4>\n

In einigen Orten musste die VONOVIA auch herbe Niederlagen bei Gericht einstecken. Alle waren sich einig, dass der Widerstand gegen die Profitmaximierungspolitik verst\u00e4rkt werden muss. So soll es anl\u00e4sslich der diesj\u00e4hrigen Aktion\u00e4rsversammlung am 16.5.2019 vor der Zentrale in Bochum und auch dezentral Protestaktionen geben. Wie bei einigen anderen Aktiengesellschaften, haben sich Mieteraktivist*innen Aktien gekauft und wollen als kritische Aktion\u00e4r*innen bei der Aktion\u00e4rsversammlung das Wort ergreifen. Am Vorabend der Aktion\u00e4rsversammlung soll es in Bochum eine Veranstaltung gegen die VONOVIA geben.<\/p>\n

VONOVIA enteignen<\/h4>\n

Durchweg positiv wurde die Kampagne f\u00fcr die Enteignung der VONOVIA, Deutsche Wohnen und anderer Wohnungskonzerne in Berlin aufgenommen. Einig waren sich die Teilnehmenden auch, dass die Reduzierung der Modernisierungsinvestitionen durch die VONVOIA kein Zugest\u00e4ndnis an die Mieter*innen sei, sondern nur ein Strategiewechsel. K\u00fcnftig wird zu erwarten sein, dass eher dauernd kleinere Modernisierungen stattfinden, H\u00e4user aufgestockt und nachverdichtet werden.
