In einem kleinen Dorf lebt Nora und m\u00f6chte nachdem die Kinder aus dem Gr\u00f6bsten raus sind, wieder arbeiten. Doch so einfach ist das nicht, sie braucht die Zustimmung ihres Gatten. So sieht es das Gesetz vor. Nach einer konfrontativen Diskussion lehnt dieser ihr Ansinnen ab und verbietet es ihr. Dies ist der Ausgangspunkt f\u00fcr ihre Politisierung kurz vor der Volksabstimmung \u00fcber die Einf\u00fchrung des Frauenwahlrechts. Sie diskutiert mit Aktivistinnen und entschlie\u00dft sich aktiv zu werden. Nora reist Freundinnen mit und bietet eine Informationsveranstaltung im Dorf an. Diese endet im Desaster, weil viele M\u00e4nner st\u00f6ren, r\u00fcckst\u00e4ndige Frauen das Anliegen untergraben und andere schweigen. Nach anf\u00e4nglicher Niedergeschlagenheit steigert es jedoch die Entschlossenheit der Beteiligten. Sie fahren zur Demo nach Z\u00fcrich und zetteln einen Frauenstreik im Dorf an. Der Film beschreibt sehr gut alle Facetten der Bewegung. Das Gef\u00fchl endlich aufbegehren zu m\u00fcssen, Selbstzweifel, Solidarit\u00e4t, Widerstand von vielen M\u00e4nnern, das Aufbrechen uralter Traditionen und Rollenbilder, sexuelle Selbstbestimmung usw. Es ist ein sehenswerter und bewegender Film der Mut macht, auch heute gegen Sexismus und jede Form von Unterdr\u00fcckung zu k\u00e4mpfen.<\/p>\n
