Daf\u00fcr ist ihm wohl ein anderes Gebot wichtig: \u201eDu sollst keine anderen G\u00f6tter haben neben mir.\u201c Der Gott, dem Herr Gauck huldigt, sind die Profite der (R\u00fcstungs-)Konzerne.<\/p>\n

Auf der NATO-Sicherheitskonferenz im Januar in M\u00fcnchen bl\u00e4hte Gauck in die Mikrofone: Wenn \u201eder \u00e4u\u00dferste Fall diskutiert wird \u2013 der Einsatz der Bundeswehr \u2013, dann gilt: Deutschland darf weder aus Prinzip \u201anein\u2018 noch reflexhaft \u201aja\u2018 sagen\u201c.<\/p>\n

Laut \u201eStatista\u201c gab Deutschland allein 2013 48,8 Milliarden Dollar f\u00fcr R\u00fcstung aus und liegt damit weltweit auf Platz 7, bei den R\u00fcstungsexporten sogar auf Platz 3. Diese Zahlen reichen CDU-Verteidigungsministerin Ursula von der Leyen jedoch nicht. Auf dem R\u00fccken der Ebola-Opfer in Westafrika feilscht sie um mehr Geld f\u00fcr ihr Ressort. Angeblich funktioniert nichts mehr beim Bund: \u201eEurofighter\u201c, die L\u00f6cher im Rumpf haben; \u201eTransall\u201c-Transportmaschinen, die nicht fliegen k\u00f6nnen und daher leider auch kein Material nach Liberia ein- und keine infizierten HelferInnen ausfliegen k\u00f6nnen. Die Botschaft ist einfach: Soll Deutschland helfen k\u00f6nnen, muss es r\u00fcsten.<\/p>\n

Zu Recht beschloss die Stuttgarter IG-Metall-Delegiertenversammlung am 20. September auf Initiative der \u201eAlternative\u201c-Gruppe bei Daimler eine Resolution, die sich gegen Waffenexporte und f\u00fcr die \u201eWandlung der R\u00fcstungsarbeitspl\u00e4tze in zivile\u201c ausspricht.<\/p>\n

Denn will Deutschland helfen, w\u00e4re der beste Weg, die Milliarden f\u00fcr die R\u00fcstung hier vor Ort in den Ausbau des Bildungs- und des seit Jahren arg geschr\u00f6pften Gesundheitswesens zu stecken. Mehr Pflegepersonal w\u00fcrde nicht nur die Gesundheitsversorgung in Deutschland verbessern, sondern auch Kr\u00e4fte f\u00fcr den Ebola-Einsatz frei werden lassen. n<\/p>\n
