Am 10. November stimmte der Deutsche Bundestag mit großer Mehrheit der weiteren Beteiligung an der US-geführten Operation „ Enduring Freedom<\/i>“ zu.<\/p>\n

Im Mittelpunkt von „Enduring Freedom<\/i>“ stand der Afghanistan-Krieg. Die Bundeswehr kann sich mit diesem Beschluss weitere zwölf Monate im Nahen Osten, in Asien und in Afrika am „ Krieg gegen den Terror<\/i>“ beteiligen. Die Bundeswehr konzentriert sich im Rahmen von „Enduring Freedom<\/i>“ weiter auf das Horn von Afrika.<\/p>\n

Am Tag bevor der Bundestag das Mandat verlängerte, wurde bekannt, dass die Bundeswehr auch praktisch den Irak-Krieg unterstützte – in dem sie regelmäßig US- und britischen Kriegsschiffen Begleitschutz gab.<\/p>\n

Verlängert wurde auch der Einsatz der hundert Soldaten der Elitetruppe KSK (Kommando Spezialkräfte), obwohl in letzter Zeit erst bekannt wurde, dass die KSK an illegalen Verschleppungsaktionen und Gefangenennahmen der US-Kräfte beteiligt war.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
