Was in den Medien als Sparkurs in der Verteidigungspolitik dargestellt wird, ist nichts anderes, als der konsequente Umbau der Bundeswehr zu einer weltweiten Interventionsarmee.<br \/> <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">\u201eNach Artikel 87a GG stellt der Bund Streitkr\u00e4fte zur Verteidigung auf. Verteidigung heute umfasst allerdings weit mehr als die herk\u00f6mmliche Verteidigung der Landesgrenze. Unsere Sicherheit wird auch an anderer Stelle dieser Erde verteidigt.\u201c<\/span> (Verteidigungspolitische Richtlinien 2003).<br \/> Schon jetzt befinden sich 7.200 Soldaten der Bundeswehr in Eins\u00e4tzen in Kosova (3.200), in Afghanistan (1.700) und in Bosnien-Herzegowina (1.300).<br \/> In der neuen Konzeption wird die Bundeswehr in drei Kategorien aufgeteilt: In Kr\u00e4fte f\u00fcr friedenserzwingende Ma\u00dfnahmen (35.000 SoldatInnen), stabilisierende (70.000) und unterst\u00fctzende Ma\u00dfnahmen (137.000).<br \/> Was die Bundeswehr auf dem Balkan und in Afghanistan mache, sei unter Stabilisierungsma\u00dfnahmen zu rechnen.<br \/> Das aktuelle Beispiel Irak zeigt, wie man sich friedenserzwingende Ma\u00dfnahmen vorzustellen hat.<br \/> Struck macht bei der Vorstellung des neuen Kurses f\u00fcr die Bundeswehr\u00a0 keinen Hehl daraus worum es geht.
