– Der Spitzensteuersatz soll von 48,5 Prozent bis zum Jahr 2005 auf 42 Prozent sinken. Jährlicher Steuerausfall: sechs Milliarden Euro
– Die im Dezember 2002 beschlossene Abgeltungssteuer auf Zinseinkünfte bringt dem Geldadel jährliche Steuergeschenke von 4,5 Milliarden Euro
– DaimlerChrysler, im Geschäftsjahr 2002 mit Gewinn von 6,9 Milliarden Euro, zahlt seit 1995 keine Steuern mehr. Für den Ausbaus des Werkes in Berlin-Marienfeld wollen die Daimler-Bosse aber 50 Millionen von 200 Millionen Euro Investitionskosten Subvention Steuergelder
– Die Reichen werden immer schneller reicher: Im Durchschnitt vermehrt sich ihr Reichtum jährlich um 8 Prozent. Das heißt ihr Vermögen verdoppelt sich innerhalb von 10 Jahren.
– Die Unternehmenssteuerreform brachte Steuerausfälle 2001 und 2002 zusammen von 30 Milliarden Euro. Dazu kommen seit 1997 zusammen mindestens 50 Milliarden Euro durch den Verzicht auf die Erhebung der Vermögenssteuer.<\/p>\n

– 213 Aufrüstungsprojekte der rot-grünen Regierung kosten bis zum Jahr 2015 mindestens 110 Milliarden Euro
– Die Kosten für den Auslandseinsätze wurden für 2003 (ohne Golfkriegsunterstützung) auf 2,3 Milliarden Euro veranschlagt.<\/p>\n

Schon vor Schröders Rede gab es dieses Jahr folgende Verschlechterungen:
– Erhöhung des Rentenbeitrags von 19,1 auf 19,3 Prozent
– Erhöhung der Krankenkassenbeiträge von durchschnittlich 14 auf 14,7 Prozent
– Höhere Mehrwertsteuer für Zahnersatz und Flugreisen
– Mindestens 3 Cent mehr für den Liter Benzin
– 1 Cent mehr pro Zigarette
– 23 Cent mehr pro Kilowattstunde Erdgas
– 0,3 Cent mehr pro Kilowatt Strom wegen Erhöhung der Ökosteuer
– Das Sterbegeld wurde von 1.050 Euro auf 525 halbiert
– Die Eigenheimzulage wurde massiv zusammengestrichen<\/p>\n
